Experience and requirements
- 3+ years in B2B account management, with a record of meeting or exceeding growth targets.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree or academic equivalent is preferred.
- Understanding of sales principles and a consultative approach to client management.
- Interest in the R&D tax, Grants, and consulting sector
Responsibilities
- Client engagement: Build and maintain strong, proactive client relationships through consistent communication.
- Account development: Identify opportunities to cross-sell services, expand existing accounts, and engage non-active clients.
- Product knowledge: Demonstrate and apply product expertise across all communications, with ongoing training provided in R&D tax, Grants and consulting.
- Support & retention: Gather real-time feedback and offer after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Data management: Update CRM systems regularly, capturing client insights and progress on accounts.
- Collaborative sales planning: Work with the Head of Account Management to create custom plans for key clients and growth initiatives.

- Organised: Manage multiple client accounts efficiently, balancing client needs with time management.
- Excellent communicator: Articulate and clear in both written and verbal communication, ensuring clarity on services and accurate responses to queries.
- Proactive: Demonstrate initiative in lead generation, uncovering new opportunities, and bringing innovation to client pitches.
