Working hours: 9am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

Experience and requirements

  • 3+ years in B2B account management, with a record of meeting or exceeding growth targets.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree or academic equivalent is preferred.
  • Understanding of sales principles and a consultative approach to client management.
  • Interest in the R&D tax, Grants, and consulting sector

Responsibilities

  • Client engagement: Build and maintain strong, proactive client relationships through consistent communication.
  • Account development: Identify opportunities to cross-sell services, expand existing accounts, and engage non-active clients.
  • Product knowledge: Demonstrate and apply product expertise across all communications, with ongoing training provided in R&D tax, Grants and consulting.
  • Support & retention: Gather real-time feedback and offer after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Data management: Update CRM systems regularly, capturing client insights and progress on accounts.
  • Collaborative sales planning: Work with the Head of Account Management to create custom plans for key clients and growth initiatives.

  • Dependable: Display professionalism and maturity in all client and team interactions.
  • Organised: Manage multiple client accounts efficiently, balancing client needs with time management.
  • Excellent communicator: Articulate and clear in both written and verbal communication, ensuring clarity on services and accurate responses to queries.
  • Proactive: Demonstrate initiative in lead generation, uncovering new opportunities, and bringing innovation to client pitches.
